“Dyads” explores the often-opposing impulses of intimate connections. Whether figures are fighting, working together, pulling at or trying to escape each other, their complexly shifting physical interactions enact emotional ones. Although some of these relationships touch on themes of love, for me the concept of intimacy feels more central to this piece.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
