"Neo Rauch: Aus Dem Boden/ From the Floor" is on view in our Main Gallery and Drawing Room. Wed-Sun 12pm-6pm | Thurs 12pm-8pm. This is the first exhibition entirely devoted to his drawings in the United States. Featuring more than one hundred fifty never or rarely seen works that span over thirty years of Rauch’s career, this exhibition presents drawing as an essential but often overlooked aspect of his oeuvre. . “Other than figures in exaggerated situations, Rauch seldom presents what could be perceived as humorous or happy moments. We might speculate that a few of the drawings in the current exhibition may be caricatures or social commentaries, if only we could decipher the Imagery.” - Jeff Fleming (essay in the Neo Rauch exhibition catalog) . #NeoRauch #drawingcenter .
