Featuring more than one hundred fifty never or rarely seen works that span over thirty years of Rauch’s career, this exhibition presents drawing as an essential but often overlooked aspect of his oeuvre. . “Until recently I always used to answer such questions by saying that I don’t actually do drawings. I found it easy to react that way because I always expected more from drawing than what’s here in the form of these sheets.
