Open Sessions Artist 2018-20: Dufala Brothers when did you decide to become artists, and why? . “I’m not sure I decided to be an artist, but did first really pursue it by going to film school, then I left film school half way through to study at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.” - Steven Dufala . “I always wanted to make things, always did make things, but never thought that I wanted to be an artist exactly. To get out of the suburbs, I put a portfolio together and applied to the school where Steven was. He was in the city anyhow, and that seemed more realistic.” - Billy Dufala .
