Open Sessions Artist 2018-20: Jesse Chun when did you decide to become an artist, and why? . “I knew that I needed to become an artist, when I realized that I wanted to create my own context and language instead of working to fulfill other people’s direction, agenda or vision. I wanted to make something that wasn’t designed for any purpose or function other than that I felt this strong connection and desire to create it and share it.
