Last night Open Sessions artist Dennis RedMoon Darkeem presented a performance that celebrated transformation by blending cultural rituals and contemporary expressions. Inspired by indigenous Native American and Urban adornment culture, Darkeem's performance created connections between music and radical drawing and head shaving traditions, to create an energetic space. His fellow Open Sessions artist Tariku Shiferaw participated in the performance.
