Open Sessions Artist 2018-20: Kenseth Armstead when did you decide to become an artist, and why? “Joseph Armstead Sr. fought in WW2 and, afterwards, transformed crumpled metal into NEW cars. The brick garage in our backyard was off limits. It was all chaotic production. The only thing I’ve ever wanted to do is create new lines.”- Kenseth Armstead Kenseth Armstead lives and works in New York. His work has been shown at the Whitney Museum, New York; the Guggenheim Museum, New York; and the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn.
