LL: “In my animations, I try to tell stories about personal memories and oral histories. I enjoy exploring historical archives, and further developing them with my imagination while trying to find evidence in real life to support their existence. I try to maintain a sense of humor in my creative direction. This is my way to counter collective memories.” 〰️
IM: “One of my goals is to establish relationships between my installations and their surroundings––in the same way a drawing does with paper. It’s about understanding how a metal rod, a gesture, action, or a trace can become a drawing in a physical space.” 〰️
