Open Sessions Conversations: Danielle Dean & Daniel Bejar 〰 DD: “I think about drawing as a type of drafting a potential through your own personal interaction with paper and the ‘thing’ you are drawing. But drawing is not just pencil on paper, it can be digital, it can be sculptural––it is a potential for something.” 〰 DB: “Similarly, I use drawing as a way to visualize and know how my projects will be executed and presented. Working with performance and intervention, I try to plan out performance routes, documentation, how interventions will look in the real world, and try to anticipate as much as possible through drawing.” 〰 Danielle Dean lives and works in Houston.
