This Saturday, January 13 join us from 10:30am - Noon! Explore how drawing operates in the world today. Coffee and art materials provided.
15 people max | $5 Per Person | Tickets via eventbrite
〰️
Start the weekend in Raha Raissnia’s “Alluvius”, the first solo exhibition by the Iranian-American artist. Raissnia’s drawings reference and abstract her archive of original and found photographs and films documenting mass protests in Tehran during the 1978-79 revolution. We will discuss the layered techniques employed by Raha to inspire content for use in your own drawings. And we will question the images we use to construct identity. 〰️
This DrawNow! workshop will be led by Ada Pilar Cruz, Artist and Museum Educator.
