We had a great DrawNow! workshop this Saturday led by Open Sessions artist Slinko. Looking at our current Main Gallery exhibition "Judith Bernstein: Cabinet of Horrors", Slinko, presented a brief history of protest signs, basics of effective typography, DIY graphic design in civil disobedience and activism as it relates to Judith Bernstein work. Participants made their own hand-written signs. The next workshop will take place on Saturday, Dec 16, 10:30am-Noon. Open Sessions artist Irini Miga will look at Eddie Martinez's "Studio Wall", on view in our Drawing Room gallery.
