On view: "Where Do We Stand? Two Years of Drawing with Open Sessions", the second whole-group exhibition of the Open Sessions program. Wed-Sun 12-6pm | Thurs 12-8pm through September 17. Olalekan Jeyifous’ series of hand-cut black and white collages are inspired by the artists nightly walks in and around Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The combined objectivist and surrealist aesthetic of the artwork draws on the design trope of the architectural folly. The images are a meditation on urban development, violence, surveillance, and the local street-front vernacular. #OpenSessions #OlalekanJeyifous kidcadaver
