"Exploratory Works: Drawings from the Department of Tropical Research" is on view through July 16 in our Main Gallery and Drawing Room. The exhibition examines the images produced by the Department of Tropical Research, led by pioneering naturalist William Beebe, during their ecological expeditions to South America and the Caribbean in the first half of the 20th Century.
