Breuning is known for his body of work exploring kitsch, clich and popular culture. Though he started as a photographer, his work forays into film, sculpture, and drawing as well to propel viewers into a world that borders on the surreal and underscores the humor of everyday life, thus bending reality to the whims of imagination. All the work in the book was made between 2005 and 2016, with the originals being pencil on A4 sheets of paper and, as Breuning mentions, some of them have or might become large scale ink and wall drawings, or sculptures made of different materials.
