The Butcher’s Daughter is, frankly, intimidatingly hip, but for fans of fresh, local produce, it’s worth embracing the restaurant. The airy white and yellow facade and flora covered walls are chipper and modern. Specializing in vegetarian and vegan cuisine, including surprising smoothies and juices, The Butcher’s Daughter prides itself on dishes that cleverly breaks down fruits and vegetables as a butcher might. Always a good sign for flavor and freshness, the menu items change with season and availability. My first visit to the restaurant, I’ll admit I was tricked by the name and definitely went in craving a pulled pork sandwich.
