One of ten Xi’an Famous Foods locations dotted throughout the city, Xi’an Famous Foods Nolita is a brisk walk east of The Drawing Center. Known for their spicy, hand pulled noodles, Xi’an Famous Foods offers cuisine from Xi’an, in Northwestern China. The original Queens location was the first to bring that city’s cumin, chili, and lamb heavy cuisine to the United States. Cumin lamb burgers, spicy and sour dumplings in soup, and hand ripped noodles with vegetables, among many other tantalizing dishes, will all satiate those looking for a filling meal with added kick. Xi’an Nolita, like the other locations, is sparse in terms of decor but filled with flavor and, more often than not, a steadily moving line of customers.
