COMING SOON: “Olga Chernysheva: Vague Accents” will be on view October 7 at The Drawing Center. The exhibit will comprise of a series of drawings the Moscow-based artist made during a month-long visit to New York in November 2015. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Her drawings, and especially her photographic barite prints, share a fuzzy, out of focus quality, as if they were indeed something in one’s peripheral vision, which Chernysheva has managed to capture and present for our inspection.” That’s the impression Helena Anderson from CandidMagazine had of Chernysheva’s solo show at GRAD_London last year.
