Opening April 15, “Drawing Dialogues: Selections from the Sol LeWitt Collection” is an exhibition featuring over 100 works by more than 60 artists from the renowned artist’s extraordinary collection. It is the first large-scale exhibition of the collection to be held in New York in over 30 years. Evening Opening April 14, 6-8pm. Artists Highlights: Kazuko Miyamoto Born in 1942 in wartime Tokyo, Kazuko Miyamoto moved to New York in 1964 where she became an assistant to Sol LeWitt. LeWitt and Miyamoto influenced each over the decades through their minimalist and abstract style. Miyamoto who is now the owner of Gallery Onetwentyeight in Manhattan's Lower East Side developed her signature nail and thread style of installation throughout the 1970s which she continued to build throughout her career.
