Across cultures, nations, sexual identities and gender expressions, one constant of human existence remains: desire. Organized by Peter Weiemair, the exhibition draws together the work of fourteen contemporary artists around the globe working in photography and video. While they vary greatly in style- ranging from documentation to elaborately staged photo shoots, these works are linked by their depictions of gender, sexuality, and attraction, bridging cultural and ideological gaps in ways that can be understood regardless of the viewer’s sexuality...
