For Drawing Sound II, String Noise (Conrad Harris and Pauline Kim Harris) are curating a three-night event featuring different performers each night. Throughout the three nights, "Echoic Memory", a site-specific sound piece by artist and composer Spencer Topel, will be installed in our Drawing Room gallery. This architectural sound installation work is based on acoustic analysis of the gallery. A unique collection of natural wood monochords will be sounded by magnetically resonating strings, reproducing delayed sounds from our adjacent Main Gallery.
