Rashid Johnson's "Anxious Men" exhibit opens at The Drawing Center this fall (Oct 2). The core of the exhibition is a new series of black-soap-and-wax-on-tile portraits that Johnson calls his “anxious men.” In addition he is working on a newly-commissioned silent video in which the artist plays a patient in dialogue with his therapist, legendary filmmaker Melvin Van Peebles.
