BEHIND THE SCENES: This week artist Abdelkader Benchamma is making a wall drawing in our stairwell. For his first U.S. museum presentation, Benchamma is creating an astronomical vortex titled "Representation of Dark Matter". Comprised of a series of linear abstractions and nebulous, inkblot forms, the graphic large-scale drawing is a depiction of the complexity of the solar system and its nearly imperceptible dark matter. Here is some of today's progress.
