After #TomiUngerer moved to Nova Scotia in 1970s he was pursued by Robert Pütz, owner of a respected German ad agency. Pütz convinced Ungerer to return to advertising, and the two struck up a partnership that would last for over twenty years. One of the duo’s campaigns was for the German printing ink manufacturer Regenbogen featured a series of whimsical and tender scenes incorporating the company’s titular motif, the rainbow.
