Did you know that on top of the North Oshawa Library sits a small white dome. Now this dome isn’t just any old dome, it is actually an observatory that houses a reflector telescope for the Faculty of Science’s Astrophysics specialization. 🔭

The telescope has a diameter of about 11 inches, which is a modest size compared to the 12 metres some modern research telescopes can get to. It is completely robotic, which allows it to be accessed remotely in lecture halls. 📚
