“Busy Is Not A Badge Of Honor” • Saw this on jarendashphotography’s post today and it really stood out. Over the last few years, something interesting has been happening. Pretty frequently, my friends, family, business partners, etc. are always telling me I’m busy. They’ll say “Hey, let’s get drinks soon! I know how busy you are but let’s get together.” or “No rush on this - you must be so busy.” • I’m so appreciative of others being understanding of hectic schedules and deadlines, but I have to say, it makes me wonder what kind of vibe I’m putting out into the world if people are telling me how busy I am without me mentioning it to them in the first place 🤔😅 • I’ve mentioned before that I try not to actually use the word “busy” much when describing my life status but I never thought about how my actions may be being perceived.
