Ruth Bader Ginsburg was the second female Justice of the United States Supreme Court, and she served for 27 years from 1993 until her death in 2020. Ruth's career was focused on women's rights and gender equality. Before being nominated for the Supreme Court, Ginsburg was a lawyer who co-founded the Women's Rights Project at the American Civil Liberties Union.
