Welcome to our starting lineup: Ms. Jashell Mitchell-Cross who will be a speaker at Game Changers Leadership and Peer Mentoring Initiative Summit & Combine May 18th, at Youngstown State University. Jashell Mitchell, a Flint, MI native and graduate of Flint Northern HS, boasts an impressive career trajectory in sports administration and community engagement. Graduating from Bethune-Cookman University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education/Recreation, she was later recognized in the BCU 40 under 40 in 2016. Mitchell’s professional journey began in basketball operations at the University of Arizona, later transitioning to football operations at the University of Memphis and subsequently serving as Director of Football Operations at North Carolina Central University.
