Protiviti Senior Consultant Simone Stavros shares her intern experience in this #InternPerspectives. "Protiviti’s internship program was amazing! I studied engineering and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to follow a traditional career path or try out consulting. During the internship, I worked on three projects with clients in different industries and got a taste of consulting life, including some traveling. As well as more technical project work, I learned how to build client relationships and develop business acumen. That gave me confidence, and I gained enough real-world experience as an intern to know that consulting was what I wanted to do. It also felt like a safe space to fail, especially in hindsight. Protiviti gives everybody, including interns, a network of advisors who support you. Not knowing the correct answer is not a problem as long as you’re communicative and want to learn.
