"When I first started working for Protiviti after I graduated in 2018, I organized a Pride walk event for the office to join the annual Salt Lake City Downtown Pride Parade. I was super excited for the event and even designed t-shirts for our office! I ended up not being able to attend the parade due to some last-minute travel so I didn’t even expect anyone to go. However, several coworkers did end up attending! They sent me a picture of themselves at pride in their t-shirts with their partners which was super touching. It really made me feel like I had allies in the office, which is not something everyone is lucky enough to have, and made me feel welcome.
