The last time I shot catelebon was in July of 2019 at firstave in Minneapolis. She was opening for #parquetcourts and it was SUCH an incredible set. I hadn't yet heard her music so she was another i discovered while shooting, always my favorite experience. Her albums 'Mug Museum' and 'Reward' have been steady favorites since then, but I'm completely obsessed with her brand new album 'Pompeii' as well, and I'm thrilled to be seeing her again TONIGHT in Chicago! I applied for a photo pass to cover the show for thephotoladies so we'll see if i get approved to photograph her again! This entire show from 2019 was super dark and they only used deep red lighting, so if you're a photographer, you know how much of a challenge it can be, but I've always loved how dreamy and ethereal my images from that show ended up being because I feel like they convey what it's actually like to be in a room watching her perform.
