Back in 2010, when I was still at scaddotedu in Savannah, I got my start in concert photography shooting for a website called New York Is Boring, run by friend patlongstreth. I didn’t really know what I was doing, but I knew I loved it. One of my absolute favorite venues in town was thejinx912. So many shows, dance parties, PBRs, and memories took place there. Unfortunately, the Congress St. venue fell victim to the pandemic, and recently closed. I went back to Savannah for savstopover from 2017-2019, where I caught some great acts in that space. So today, we pour one out for The Jinx - one of the greatest venues I’ve ever visited. Here’s a shot of mikekrol with allisoncrutchfield in 2019.
