As told by our team photographer: December 13, 2020: Right after the team runs out of the tunnel, each player has a small routine. This week, I followed Sterling Shepard down to the opposite end zone. After a quick prayer before the game, he got up and looked up at the sky one more time. Normally it’s always best to capture the player’s face, but in this circumstance, I didn’t have the right angle. After looking back at the image, I thought the emotion coming from his hand pointing up to the sky and head angled back carried the entire story by itself. -nygiantsphotog #bwwednesday
