dear basketball, words can’t even begin to describe how thankful I am for you. God placed you in my life at an early age, where that first passion and fire for the game initially started. since 5 years old, I continued to chase that passion. along the way, i learned a lot of extremely valuable lessons, worked the hardest i’ve ever worked, met the most amazing people, and created the fondest of memories. you brought family closer than ever, you gave me friendships that will last a lifetime, and you taught me to never give up on my dreams— no matter how far away they seem. since i can remember, you have been my biggest passion.
