Yates’ independent investigation into abusive behavior and sexual misconduct in women’s professional soccer. I am heartbroken and frustrated by the systemic failures of leadership to protect the players and the outright lies that have been told along the way. It is a culture of cover-up where those responsible are more concerned about results than humanity. We are a decade too late for so many athletes who have been abused, told they were wrong and forced into silence. The damage has been done. Change must and will come NOW.
