On any given day we have around 60,000 thoughts that run through our mind pulling our attention away from the present moment. Who knows what I’m thinking about in this photo but I’m thinking something. 💭🤔🧠 Internal distractions are REAL and inevitable so how do we quiet our minds? I’ll be totally honest, I’ve meditated a handful of days in my entire life. BUT, today I am committing to a meditation journey. I plan to start at 4 mins and work my way up to 12 mins, 5 times a week - research shows this is the optimal amount to create change (and it does not have to be consecutive minutes). So, here goes!!! Who wants to join me in the quest to be more present?!!!
