In a world that has leaned heavily on virtual events, last night was a magical evening when rtcsoccer teamed up with Braddock Road Youth Club for a safe, outdoor, in-person book launch. As one of the top youth clubs in Virginia, BRYC invited more than 100 children ages 7-13 out for a night of soccer instruction, a book signing (which turned into jersey, cleat, ball, and bag signing), and an a Q&A session (mostly about my hair 😂). The kids went gaga over the book once they got their hands on it and the parents were equally impressed with the digestible chapters.
