Had to post this bc it's a thing of beauty. Fifth day into retirement and I wake up early on a Saturday to join a team playing in district_sports all men's division. . . My team cared nothing of the fact that I was a woman and welcomed me with open arms. We went on to win 7-2 and I learned our opponents actually complained that I was on the field in a men's league. Complained about a WOMAN in a MEN'S league. HA!!! . So proud to be a part of this squad and of a league who supports all genders and identities.
