Just like most people born into a traditional South Asian family, I was told to stick to the basics and stay in my lane. Find a job in the medical field, get married young and plan to start having kids and be a housewife eventually✨ Did I try that route? Yes. Did it work out for me? Yes. Getting married at 21, divorced at 25, dropping out of nursing school at 29 and following my passion for creating a thriving wedding photography business was more in the books for me. And I wouldn’t have it any other way!🫶🏼 All of the experiences I had taught me more about myself, my capabilities and how I could overcome obstacles by carving out my OWN path that was right for me!❤️ That meant being different, embracing my unique style of shooting and editing and not being afraid to stand out from the crowd.
