When fritesstreet invited me along on their day of Idaho Potatoes harvesting, I planned for a very fun and educational day. Obviously I have been spending some time recently learning more about where my family’s food comes from. What I didn’t expect was to be left so exposed at the inadequacy of of my understanding of the entire process of feeding America. From the love of the land of the farmers at wadafarms, to seeing the level of quality investigation from the team at Frites Street. And how their commitment to quality starts with choosing to partner with Wada Farms here in Idaho! Not to mention every step in between. And then spending a lovely lunch listening to farmers and food distributors talk shop. They were all very kind answering my questions. 🙂 This is their love. The process is astounding.
