It’s National Potato Month! 🥔 And idahopreferred month! You’ve probably seen I’ve been doing some “ag-venturing” to learn about Idaho food production and agriculture. I’m tagged my adventures with #nourishlocalidaho if you want to see more. Fry company fritesstreet heard that I had NEVER been to a potato field (Let alone a potato harvest) So they invited me and my photographer buddy michaelbonocore to join them on their annual trip to Idaho potato country. We had a chance to talk to the farmers and producers about the entire process. It was fascinating to see the steps that lead to the potatoes being ready to ship. Standing on over 8 million potatoes was quite the experience. I will never look at potato’s the same way again. I was glad that I had the opportunity to explain fry sauce to some of the out of towners. 😉 Thank you to owner Flip of fritesstreet and the cool people of wadafarms.
