September is Idaho Preferred Month, a holiday proclaimed by the Governor of Idaho that recognizes and celebrates locally grown freshly harvested produce! Now celebrating its 19th year, this month-long celebration is the perfect time to learn about your local food sources and to commit to supporting your local farmers, ranchers, and food crafters! The goal of idahopreferred is about “Connecting you with food and agriculture products grown, raised, or crafted in the Gem state.” They are such an amazing wealth of knowledge! I had the opportunity to head out on a tour with some of my fellow content creators and influential social media peeps to learn more about supporting local Idaho agriculture.
