Final count - 2196 boxes of general supplies and over 160 boxes of medical supplies gathered for Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine. Not to mention a huge influx of monetary donations to help with the transportation of the supplies, and purchasing supplies upon arrival. This humanitarian aid drive by the Slavic community turned into an enormous Treasure Valley wide effort. What started with a couple dozen volunteers turned into hundreds. What this says to me is that people want to do what they can to help people in need. They are looking for ways to help. And it also tells me that while our speech or customs might be different, we are all one community here. Or we can be. Thank you to Idaho Pizza Company and Crumbl Cookies!
