Yay! The first day of the Wahooz and Hello Meridian “FREE LUNCH FOR FAMILIES” was a huge success! Please note, the sign-ups for the week are FULL. Over 1500 lunches were reserved within two hours. We want to say a huge thank you to wahoozandpinzidaho. Within just a few hours of deciding to collaborate on this idea, the website was being created and food was being ordered. Their desire to be part of the Community Over Corona Challenge has been inspiring. That being said, there’s still a lot of need, and we hope that other businesses will follow their lead and look for ways to provide help to the community. We are working with another company on a project that should go through within the next week. There have been so many efforts being made throughout our community, let’s keep it going. With the newly released information that The Idaho State Board of Education ordered all public schools in the state closed until at least April 20, the need is definitely not going away anytime soon. ...
