We have a sneak peek of the new Gorongosa National Park Exhibit at zooboise! Open to the public Wednesday July 17th! Head to our Instagram stories and our lives to see! They’re still getting projects done, so it’s a little bit under construction, but you’ll get the idea. (Thank you to the Zoo for the tour!) They done an incredible job, and we love that they are bringing a part of Africa to Boise. They’ve also been very conscientious of the mental state of the animals, allowing them a choice of where they reside, even if that is not in view of the guests. The new 2.5 acre exhibit will feature a variety of animals that can be seen in Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique, Southeast Africa. This includes African wild dogs, baboons, Nile crocodiles, vervet monkeys, otters, hyenas, warthogs, nyala and more.
