Chef Emran Chowdhury’s approach: ‘I like to define our food as “graceful.” A dinner at ÀLAVITA is meant to be savored. We usually will go there for special occasions, but don’t wait for that, it’s perfect for any night out in Boise. Always order the Burrata. It’s like a soft spreadable homemade mozzarella. Severed with Basil infused Maldon sea salt, apricot-cherry mostarda, Partana olive oil & local crostini. It might be one of the mostly heavenly things you’ve ever tasted. Especially when ordered with the Grilled Artichoke Hearts in Basil-truffle aioli. All of the pasta is amazing - we just discovered the sweet potato Gnocchi with braised Kurobuta pork cheeks, parsnips, sage, warm spices. Yeah. Order that. Feeling fancy? ...
