There’s a new candy shop in town, and it’s something pretty special. sweetzolascandy is a little local candy shop that has just opened in downtown Meridian. And it’s focus is on providing employment opportunities for those with disabilities. It’s all about “Candy for Inclusion”. Store owner Cyndy Radovich is dedicated to providing job and skills training for people with special needs in our community. She’s hired 10 special needs employees for her shop. Adults with autism, down syndrome and other conditions often lose their jobs. Sweet Zola's is trying to change that. “I just want to be able to provide a new environment for them, I want them to feel welcomed and accepted the way they are”, says Radovich. Well. That’s amazing.
