Did you guys know that Eagle has a really fantastic German restaurant? schnitzelgarten is a fantastic local restaurant with a cool rustic ambiance, long wooden tables, ample beer selection and delicious authentic German cuisine. We tried the Gypsy Style Schnitzel (the day’s special) and it was the BOMB. Pounded fillet of meat carefully breaded and fried. Served with a creamy red bell pepper and paprika sauce. Also the Beef Stroganoff (scrumptious) and some Chicken Wurst. (Got to get sausage. Duh.) Ended the meal with homemade Apflestrudel (for cherry season they’ve added local cherries). 🤗 It was so much fun to try all of these dishes that we’ve never experienced, at least not experienced this way.
