We have lots of people ask for recommendations for restaurants that accommodate families easily. We actually have found smokymtnpizza in Meridian to be a great choice. The restaurant is family friendly and the menu is varied enough to satisfy everyone. Don’t be confused by the name, if you haven’t been, this is definitely not just a pizza joint. They have a large selection of pastas, salads, burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, and really good desserts. They have an option for kids to make their own pizza which is always fun. We love heading there in the summer, as the Meridian location has a beautiful shaded patio. Bright and cheery in the daytime, and lovely ambience at night. Also, if you have kids that are particularly squirrelly - see if you can reserve the Cellar Dining Room. It’s a small private room off of the main dining room, big enough for a large family and the doors even shut! Love that.
