This year, we're making "chestnuts roasted on an open fire" a reality! Well, actually we're going to roast them in the oven. It's a surprisingly easy method, and apparently they taste a lot like sweet potatoes. But you can do it in a fire safe frying pan or fireplace corn popper over a fire.
