Did you know that chateaueagle hosts a formal Afternoon Tea? It's pretty much the greatest fancy ladies event in the State. Men can go too of course. ☺️ Real men are good with finger sandwiches. Especially cold smoked salmon, dill and cream cheese. And fresh English scones with clotted cream and homemade lemon curd. Individual Quiche Lorraine. And tiny delicacies so adorable it's hard to even think of eating them. And yet you do, and all is right with the world. We went to last week's tea and had such a charming time. (Whenever you have an opportunity to say charming without it being cheesy, you should take advantage.) We made it a mothers and daughters event and the little girls we're basically falling over themselves in pure joy. The moms too actually.
